The goal is to go from Average Joe to Built Jim. But what exactly do I mean by that? I don't mean like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. That's Too Big. I'm looking for something closer to a Tyler Durden (The Edward Norton/Brad Pitt Character) from Fight Club. You know lean Muscle Mass. Muscular. Low body fat percentage and a weight roughly of 205lbs.
You might be asking, "What do you exactly mean by body fat percentage?" Well I don't know yet. I am going to get my body fat percentage measured and set a goal for that as well. That way I will have a much more accurate goal of weight and body fat percentage.
The Reason
In order to achieve any goal, one must have worthy and rooted reasons to achieve it. Otherwise the goal won't be worth the cost. Saying, "Because I feel like it" doesn't always create the best results. Here are a few of my reasons for doing it:
1. I always wanted to be built.
2. I love that feeling of having used muscles the day after working out. I love that shaking feeling as you get closer to your last failing rep, when your muscles go "No MORE!!!!"
3. Girls go gaga over it.
4. Confidence.
5. General Health.
6. Confidence.
7. Did I say Girls?
8. Better at sports. Longer Drives on the golf course.
9. Studies have shown that height and fitness greatly influence the amount of your success at work. While I can't really do much about height. I am what I am. Fitness is in my complete control.
My goal and my reason is good to get me started, however I need to fill the picture out a bit more, it's a bit foggy still. However, as I travel down this road to a Fight Club Physique and I learn my vision will become clearer as to what exactly I want and why I want it.
